Sheet Masks Review - Part 2: Sephora Face Masks

I decided to try some Sephora masks in keeping with my skincare regime. These masks are a little pricier than drugstore masks, costing around $40TT for one.  I applied each mask after I cleansed my face in the evening so I could see its immediate effects and judge its staying power the following day. The products I used are shown in the picture below followed by my review of each product individually.

FACE MASKS
  • Orchid
This is an “anti-aging and smoothing” mask and is one of my favourite masks to purchase. My skin is very sensitive and it did an excellent job at moisturizing my face without any burning or tingling sensations. The smell was not overpowering at all and I rubbed the remaining serum from the pack on my face and neck before sleeping. The next morning my skin was so soft and smooth but also firm.  Overall, I was very impressed with the results.
  • Pomegranate
This mask claims to have “anti-fatigue and energizing” properties and it delivered on both fronts. The mask smelled great and was cooling on my skin. Overall it left my skin feeling awake, energized and elastic. My skin was glowing and hydrated afterwards as well. If your skin needs a pick me up and you want to transform your skin from dull to glowing, then you definitely should try this one.
  • Rose
This fibre mask is enriched with natural rose extract to infuse skin with intense moisture to create an “ultra-moisturizing and brightening” result. This mask was very gentle on the face and it had a beautiful fragrance. My skin was very irritated when I applied the mask but it was extremely moisturizing and soothing. My skin looked brighter instantly. If you have dry skin, this mask is definitely worth a try!

EYE MASKS
  • Orchid
This mask is said to contour perfectly under the eye for better penetration of the active ingredients and that it did. The mask covered a good section of my under eye area! Overall, this mask made the skin under my eyes look firmer and there was a reduction in the appearance of the wrinkles I had from rubbing my eyes constantly (allergies are the worst). The difference was immediate and my eyes looked brighter and more youthful.

  • Pomegranate
This mask is said to reduce the signs of fatigue and tone the eye contour for a rested, energetic look. I found this mask to be extremely hydrating and the puffiness and darkness under my eyes had lessened by the time I woke up the next morning. The cooling effect was immediate and after I removed the patches, my eyes felt very awake. I really loved this one.

  • Rose
This mask is supposed to replenish the delicate eye area with water for intense moisturizing providing an immediate radiance boost. Unfortunately, this mask did not get rid of my dark circles but it did moisturize my under eye area pretty well. It felt very calming on my sensitive skin which is a plus and it did reduce puffiness. I really liked this mask but I wouldn’t purchase it again.

LIP MASK
  • Shea
After wearing Sasha, Colourpop and ABH lipsticks, my lips get super dry and it seems like nothing really helps so I wasn’t expecting much from this mask. However, I was very impressed. I left them on for the full 20 minutes and it hydrated and plumped my lips. I would recommend exfoliating your lips first (you can use 1 spoon of brown sugar, olive oil and honey to do this) if you have extremely dry lips to remove the dead skin. Overall, my lips felt smooth and soft the day after I used it. I would definitely repurchase this product!!

Overall, these masks delivered on their promises and left my skin looking and feeling great. Hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know whether you did in the comment section below and don't forget to share with your friends and subscribe!!
