Acne Skincare Solutions

The internet is a paradise for beauty lovers. However, if you're into skincare, you'll probably also know that it can be quite the black hole when it comes to picking new products. There are so many products on the market that are hyped up, it can be hard to know just which new regimens are worth investing in and which are worth leaving alone.

Rule # 1 for dealing with this is to remember: everyone's skin is different. Figuring out what works for you and your skin and then sticking to it is ultimately the best way to keep your face feeling happy. Rule # 2 is to do your research! Always keep your skin in mind. There are so many sources, from word of mouth to online reviews and the more information you expose yourself to will help you to make better decisions regarding your skin's health.

Moving on, here's a little breakdown of some faves that I can't get enough of in case it helps you get started.

If you have COMBINATION SKIN, PRONE TO CYSTIC ACNE, the following is for you:

If you want to keep things brief in the morning, I recommend using Glossier's Jelly Cleanser ($140TT) in the shower followed by Glossier's Solution ($175) for a quick tone. Before applying makeup, finish with Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturiser ($230TT).

In the evening use Neutrogena's Makeup Remover Towelettes ($40TT) to remove the first layer of makeup off before using Clinique's Take the Day Off Balm ($250) and then Glossier's Jelly Cleanser in the shower to get that squeaky-clean, double cleanse feeling.

If you have COMBINATION SKIN, HORMONAL ACNE, then I recommend this short and sweet routine:

For the morning I would recommend slapping on a liberal amount of Pixi Rose Flash Balm ($175TT) and Glossier's Invisible Shield Sunscreen ($200) under your makeup. Then in the evening, double cleansing is a requirement for keeping the skin supple and clean. Pixi's Double Cleanser ($250TT) has a solid balm that goes straight on your makeup before you wet your face and is then followed by a cream cleanser that goes deeper into the pores.

Then you can use Pixi's Rose Caviar Essence ($260TT) to moisturize. This provides a great hit of hydration without any greasy residue. Follow that with a dash of The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Solution ($60TT)  on any areas where there are spots. This is the perfect solution for any acne and blemish spots and it also treats dull and uneven skin tones.

Hope this post helps you choose some products that will bring forth the changes you want to see in your skin!!! Don't forget to share with your friends and comment to let me know what you guys think!
