1. Prime your Eyes
The first step is to prime your eyes to make sure your eye makeup stays put. You can add a skin tone colour to the base to lock in your primer. This will also help the eyeshadow colours blend easier. I recommend using brushes for this look to achieve a clean, well-blended finish.
2. Create Your Smoky Eye
Apply your brown and mocha shadow above the natural eyelid crease and use a windshield wiper motion to blend the eyeshadows from the outer to the inner part of the eye. Then take a matte black eyeshadow and create a V-shaped eyeliner focusing the product on the outer crease. Start with a little product and keep adding bit by bit until you achieve the intensity of colour you desire. Blend the colours together by passing your brush over them lightly. The goal is to get rid of any harsh lines. You want the colours to flow seamlessly into each other. I used the Master Palette by Mario and Morphe's 35N Palette to create this look.
3. Create the Cut-Crease Effect
Use concealer and a brush to outline the desired eye shape you want. Start by drawing a line with the concealer above your natural crease but below your smoky eye and then placing the concealer over the inner two-thirds of the eyelids.
4. Put Your Glitters
Once you’re done with the concealer outline, set with powder. Then take your Glitter glue and place it on both eyelids. Use a clean brush to pick the glitter up and carefully press the glitter onto your lids where you placed the glue. Work in sections to ensure an even application. I used Too Faced Insurance Glitter Bonding with loose black glitter eyeshadow.
5. Apply Eyeliner
Eyeshadow makeup will never be complete without a winged-eye effect, so grab your favourite liquid eyeliner and apply to the edges of your V-shaped makeup.
6. Attach False Eyelashes
Between the combo of glitter and smoky eyes, your eyelashes are easily overpowered. False eyelashes are perfect for this look as it gives you instant growth and added drama to the overall look.
7. Create a Smoky Effect Underneath the Eyes
Complete the look by applying dark makeup underneath the eyes. I blended the brown and matte black shades for this look.
8. Put on Red Lipstick
If you feel like your eye makeup is bold enough then skip this step but to make your look even sexier, try L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche Collection in the shade Liya's Red!
